During the election day training this morning, the coordinator told us that campaign analysis points toward Alameda County's vote on Prop 8 deciding the whole state. They wanted to recruit more people to canvas and flyer for No on 8 in Oakland and the rest of the East Bay between now and the election.
I'll be working election day on the west side of San Francisco, but I can't do Oakland between now and then because of childcare constraints.
On the other hand, you Alameda people are already there. If you have the time, please consider helping out -- contact No on 8 in Oakland by calling (415) 252-8132.
